You can create tasks in BookingStudio. The tasks can be used as your own personal Todo list or you can assign tasks to other people's todo lists.
Tasks can also be assigned to different unit types, e.g. a holiday home, a customer, a creditor, an employee / yourself, a reservation or a block. In this way, you get easy access to useful shortcuts and information on the task.

A task
A task consists of the following fields:
- A time for when the task must be carried out
- Option to assign the task to an employee
- Heading of the assignment, which is displayed on the front page or in the assignment overview
- Option to expand the task with additional text
When a task has been created, regardless of where, it can be viewed in the task overview or via the front page.

The start page
Write directly in the field under today's tasks. When something has been written, the plus sign is active and the task can be added by clicking on "plus".
The task overview
On the front page there is a link to the task overview "See all tasks".
Click here on the "New task" button.
User - Employees / personal task
A personal task is not associated with anything other than an employee.
This type of task is created under the task overview itself, or via the front page.
Click Edit next to the task and assign the employee who should have the task.
Blockings
You create and assign a task to a block in the holiday home's calendar by clicking on a date for the block and selecting "Create a Todo on blocking In use by owner".
If you create a block, you can check mark "Reminder" and fill in the date, assignment and note.
This is also a way to create a task in the task system.
Reservation
You can create and assign a task via the booking dashboard.
Click on the 3 dots and select "Create task".
Via a holiday home calendar, you can also create a task on the reservation.
Click on a date for the reservation and select "Create task on the reservation".
Holiday home
You create and assign a task to a holiday home via the holiday home's dashboard:
Creditor
You create and assign a task to a creditor via Administration -> Creditors -> Search creditor in the overview and select Create task.
Customer
You create and assign a task to a customer via the customer dashboard.
The task overview on the start page
You can find the overview of tasks by pressing See all tasks on the start page. By using the Notification Center and tapping Tasks. Or by clicking on your user in the top right corner and clicking My tasks:
Here you can get an overview of your current, overdue and upcoming tasks. You can filter tasks at employee level, planning (planned/unplanned) and type (Blocking, Reservation, Holiday home...).
The overview is grouped into three groups:
- Today: Shows today's tasks, as well as those where the planning date has been exceeded
- Upcoming tasks: The tasks that are imminent. How long ahead should be displayed can be specified under settings
- Unscheduled: All the tasks that do not have a date associated with them are displayed here.
For each task, you can, via a menu's shortcuts, jump directly to relevant pages for the task type. Which shortcuts there are depends on what the task is associated with.
The shortcuts can also be seen when selecting Edit for a task.
All changes to a task are registered and can be viewed under the menu item "History".
You can perform certain actions on several tasks at once, e.g. change/remove the date, change assignment, mark as done or delete the tasks. When tasks are selected on the left side, an additional function appears in the upper gray line.
