Property - meters

Consumption history is automatically added to this page as it is registered. 

Registration can be made via Front Desk, but it is also possible to register a reading here.

To see the history of the consumption of a property, search for the property and select the menu item Meters.

Display of consumption

There is a tab for each consumer product with a meter.

The tab “Electricity” is selected and shows all the consumption registrations for electricity at this property.

You can see columns for …

• From date and To date – Dates of stay in the property.
• Start and End – What the meter has been on at the beginning and the end of the stay.
• Units – Calculation of how much consumption has been during the stay.
• Settled on – The document number for the settlement of consumption.
• Reservation – by clicking on the reservation number, you can go directly to the reservation.

Entering consumption

Consumption will mostly be entered via Sales> Front Desk-> Departures when the guest checks out.
There you can enter both start and end numbers for the meter.

On the Meters page in connection with the property it is also possible to enter a reading using the “New reading” button.
When the button is clicked, this screen will appear for filling.
It is only possible to enter a reading for one date.

In the first field, you select which consumer product you want to enter a reading for (electricity, water, oil....). Only consumer products that are added to the property will be shown as options.

Canceled meter entries are also displayed

If a consumption invoice is cancelled, it is also shown on the page with meters. It is shown with red text that the meter registration has been cancelled, and it says Canceled in the Units column.

Meters settings

Menu: Settings -> Overview. Search “Front Desk”.
The page shows the setup for Front Desk, where you, among other things also can define settings for the consumption meters.

If there is a large fluctuation in the entry of consumables, a warning can be displayed at check-out.
Turn this feature on if desired:

At the end of the page (Settings -> Front Desk) there is a section regarding consumer products.
Here you can choose whether there is a property that does not need to have settled consumption.
It can also be determined whether the readings may be registered with decimals.

Mark the consumables that need to be in another box and use the arrows in the middle to move them over.

When you click Save, the changed settings will take effect both in the Front Desk and under Meters for the properties .

Average consumption on a meter (Beta)

In a beta version, you can see the average consumption for the individual counters at the top of the page.
As an example, the electricity meter on a holiday home is shown here.

              The average consumption of electricity here is 10.41 kWh per rented day

If you click on the “More details” link, you will see that the average is calculated for all months and years.

In the details, you can see what the average consumption has been in a particular month.
