It is possible to add photos to a property. These photos can be displayed on the website if the website is set up for it.
We recommend that the photos are made in the same format – either all in a wide or high format.
Save the photos in the highest quality as JPG files.
This gives the best result for the display.
BookingStudio supports photos up to 4096×4096 pixels (approximately 108×108 cm).
If your photo is larger, then BookingStudio will scale down the photo – but it is recommended that you scale down the photo yourself to achieve the best quality.
Add photos
Search for the property, and go to the menu item Images.
See all photos for the property and add more photos
Here you can see all the photos that are on the property and you can upload new ones.
Click the “Add more images” button to upload new photos.
A new screen for your PC will appear, so you can find and select the new photos here.
You can upload one or more photos at once. Select the photos by holding down the Shift key on the keyboard while clicking on the desired photo. Once the photos are selected, click Open and the photo will be uploaded to BookingStudio.
Frequently asked question
- How do I rotate a photo?
It can happen that if you take a photo with an iPhone and uploads it directly to BookingStudio, it will be rotated wrong.
We are working on allowing our “photo engine” to support photos that are “rotated via meta-data” (this is what mobile phones do). Until then – you can possibly use: Rotate a JPG – Online JPG Tools.
Here you need to drag the file over to the first box and then press “Save as” in Rotated jpeg. This flips the photo and you can upload it to BookingStudio.
Change the order of the photos
The first photo is what is shown in the overview for searches of properties. The others will be shown under images for the property. If you want to change the order of the photos, click on the photo and move it to the desired location with the mouse.
Delete a photo
Click on the photo. A new button with “Delete selected” appears and you can now delete it.
Warning at too low a resolution
To ensure that photos on websites are displayed in good quality, there is a feature in BookingStudio that automatically gives a warning if the resolution of the photo is too low.
By default, it is set to 1400 x788 pixels (16:9 format).
This warning is only displayed in BookingStudio, and not on the website.
It will look like this on a photo:
If you want the warning for a different size, you can change the settings by going to the menu:
Settings-> Overview-> Search “Lodging settings.”
